Here's what you do

• Write the value of the asset you wish to track (eg. a registration number) to an NFC card using our app on your phone.

• Choose the site and activity you want to record on the phone app.

• Tap the card to the phone and the details and position are recorded. The data is available in real time for anyone you want to be able to see it.

• Any member of your staff using the app can record subsequent activities as required.

• You can add / remove sites and activities at will using your phone, providing you with total flexibility.

How you use Streamtech to benefit your business is completely up to you. But here are some examples of how the system can help our customers.

• Moving material from your site

If you have a large amount of material which needs to be moved from your site, Streamtech is an ideal way of keeping track of vehicle movements. All you need to do is use a mobile phone to enter the registration number of each vehicle involved in the project and assign it to a NFC card or tag. The driver is then given the card, which he taps against the phone when he is leaving or arriving back at your site. This allows you to instantly see how much material has left your site in real time and whether you are meeting your targets. You can also use the system by placing a card or tag at the entry point of your site or another location and giving the drivers a mobile phone with the Streamtech app installed.

• Security Guarding

You can use Streamtech to log the movements of your staff. This could be useful for checking security guards are patrolling your site or making sure cleaning staff are visiting all the locations you have asked them to. All you need to do is assign a tag to each location and fix it in place. Your employees are then given mobile phones which they tap against the tag to register their presence. You will then be able to see who was in each place and when.

• Employee attendance

A simple alternative to a traditional clocking in system, Streamtech can keep accurate records of your staff’s attendance and timekeeping. Each employee is issued with their own NFC card which they tap on the phone of a supervisor, manager or foreman when they arrive for their shift and when they finish for the day. This allows you to instantly see exactly who is on a particular site at any one time, which is incredibly useful in the event of a fire or another safety issue. The records can also be used for calculating staff wages and identifying any issues with non-attendance or lateness.

• Keep track of your equipment

You can use Streamtech to tag your machinery tools or any other assets for security purposes and to keep records of any maintenance checks and their exact location. This is also a useful way of proving ownership if the item is ever stolen.
